faq

1. How is a shampoo for swim and sweat specifically designed for athletes?

As athletes, our hair is in constant exposure to sweat, salt, and chlorine (from swimming pools or from fresh water that is treated with chlorine). These agents are harmful to the hair, sometimes blonde or color treated hair may even change color. Our shampoo not only protects your hair, it makes it stronger. It clears harsh chemicals and sweat, prevents discoloration, and removes odors.

2. What could cause my hair to change color?

Water chemistry. Natural minerals, chemicals used for water treatment, and seasonal water chemistry changes, affect whether or not water discolors your hair. Some water is high in iron which can give hair an orange, red or yellow hue. Other elements in water, like metals, can cause green or brown discoloration. Whatever your water picks up from pipes on the way to you could also be a problem. Scalp oils. Sometimes your own sebum can give your hair a yellowish hue. Sebum production can vary with seasons, activity level, and microbial activity on your scalp. Smoke and pollution. Your hair can pick up these things, specially smoke from cigarettes. Swimming pools and ocean water. Minerals in pool fungicides can cause a greenish or yellow tint, and chlorine can increase hair porosity. Salt water dries hair and causes brittleness. Sunlight. UV light tends to make hair more porous and it may also cause yellowing.

3. Why should I choose your products? How are they designed for athletes?

Our product line was created to target active people’s skin needs. Having experienced the conditions ourselves, we developed a product line designed to tend to athletes’ skin. Our brand is unique, created and designed by a dermatologist and a chemical engineer, who are also athletes. We used our knowledge, personal experience, and passion for staying active, to create these products that will help you remain active too.
