Favorite spf lip balm

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had chapped lips or cold sores after being in the sun. I haven’t had any since I started using the 30 spf avanza lip balm. I also love that it’s refreshing, hydrating and doesn’t have a sticky or waxy finish. #1 fan!

description

Athletes know that it’s the details that others overlook that often makes the biggest difference in our performance.

Outdoor activities expose our skin—and lips—to the elements and harmful rays, which is why a lip balm with SPF is essential. What starts as a light sting can soon develop into something that derails your focus.

faq

1. Why do I need sunscreen in a balm to shield lips?

The sun can cause lip aging and result in dark spots or loss of collagen, which results in loss of plumpness. It’s important for athletes that are in constant exposure to the sun to protect and moisturize their lips with a balm that has sunscreen.

2. How do I protect my skin from the sun?

The sun has two types of harmful rays: ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB). Too much sun can make your skin age faster contributing to the appearance of wrinkles and sunspots, and is linked to skin cancer. Using a balm to shield lips will help you protect your skin against the sun. Our sunscreen is broad-spectrum, which protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Even though sunscreen protects you, we recommend wearing a hat or cap and sunglasses if possible.

3. Why should I choose your products? How are they designed for athletes?

Our product line was created to target active people’s skin needs. Having experienced the conditions ourselves, we developed a product line designed to tend to athletes’ skin. Our brand is unique, created and designed by a dermatologist and a chemical engineer, who are also athletes. We used our knowledge, personal experience, and passion for staying active, to create these products that will help you remain active too.
